Description
A pick up and play deck-builder roguelite with dice.
Join the Fuzz Force and become a member of the Spook Squad division. Join Finn the Fox, Dotty the Dog, Lix the Lizard and Mecha Peppa on their mission to capture the Polter Prince and put an end to his mischief. Battle Ghosts in turn based battles using dice powered weapons, whilst navigating a haunted board game world.

History
Spook Squad is developed by a single game artist who wanted to make playable prototypes. After a bit of learning, and a failed attempt at making proper grid based movement, there was a fox who moved around a board of tiles that flipped over. From there I'd decided I had something I wanted to make in my spare time and Spook Squad is developing by the day.

Features
-
An easy to get into Roguelite that uses dice instead of cards. Numbered dice are a lot quicker to compare power levels than cards, which means more time playing.
-
Multiple charming characters with their own battle focus and special skills.
-
Unlockable weapons add twists to the Squad's initial playstyles.
-
A turn based battle system with dice rolling. Inspired by tabletop games, the effectiveness of your actions is determined by the dice you've equipped.
-
Explore areas and choose your path through them instead of clicking a simple 2D map between battles.
-
Choose to roll the Bonus Dice for a chance at shop discounts, better chest loot and easier battles. But with reward comes risk of shops, chests and battles being made worse
-
Combine Status Effect Dice and ability Modules to create combos. Fully customise your play style, utilise synergies and give those Ghosts something to be scared of!
Cassie's Betrayal DLC
An update to Spook Squad arrives on October 28th bringing with it a whole host of new enemies to expand upon the ghostly variety including Spook Squad defector; Cassie the Cat. Defeating them fills out their entries in the new Bestiary to see their skills. Weapon and Mission progression is reworked so that defeats still make progress. And in completing each of the missions, new story texts will unlock to learn more about the Spook Squad.
